Uncle Joe McTeague’s Mansion
Uncle Joe McTeague’s mansion is located at 20181 Northridge Rd, Chatsworth, CA.

Daniel “Danny” McTeague’s Bowling Tournament in Milwaukee
While the Pro Bowlers Tour that Danny McTeague participates in is said to take place in Milwaukee, the actual exterior location of the bowling alley was filmed at the former Palace Bowl that was once located at 5242 W. 25th Street, Cicero, IL.

The interior shots of the bowling alley were filmed at the former Active West’s South Bay Bowling Center that was once located at 1515 Hawthorne Boulevard, Redondo Beach, CA.

Cincinnati PBA Tournament - Crown Lanes Bowling
Danny’s Cincinnati bowling tournament took place at the Cal Bowl bowling alley located at 2500 E Carson St, Lakewood, CA.

Hotel Bristol
In one scene, Danny and his girlfriend Robin stay at the Hotel Bristol located at 423 W 8th St, Los Angeles, CA.
When Danny and Robin are discussing the possibility of visiting Uncle Joe, Danny is seen standing in front of the former Italian Kitchen restaurant that once was located across the street from Hotel Bristol.

While trying to repair his relationship with Uncle Joe, Danny visits him at the McTeague Scrap Metal site at 2104 E. 15th St, Los Angeles, CA.

Coolidge Hotel - Washington D.C.
When Danny follows Uncle Joe and Molly to Washington D.C., he stands outside the Coolidge Hotel which was actually filmed at a building on the Warner Bros. backlot at 3400 Warner Boulevard, Burbank, CA.

Bradbury Building - Robin’s Apartment
Later in the film, Danny brings Uncle Joe to Robin’s apartment building. This location is actually the iconic Bradbury Building at 304 S. Broadway, Los Angeles, CA.
The scene where Molly and Douglas are waving at Danny and Robin was filmed across the street of the Bradbury Building. This was in front of what used to be the 23rd St. Playhouse, which is now the Million Dollar Theater at 307 S. Broadway, Los Angeles, CA.
